SCI is a series of stabilizing combustion in motor currents that still using platinum. Platina is a tool in combustion systems in motor vehicles which is very important. Platinum condition must always be in top shape because it determines the quality of combustion. The condition was difficult to maintain because the platinum work mechanically. The function of platinum is connect and break the current 2-3 A, DC 12 V to generate pulses. This pulse is then raised so that the voltage using the coil to sparks the spark plug.
Because the current in the platinum is quite large, resulting in sparks on the surface of platinum so that the platinum becomes hot and easy to wear. Consequently we must always replace platinum periodically. This will be very disturbing if we’re in a long journey.
To maintain the condition of platinum so it does not quickly wear out, we can reduce the currents Ip platinum. We create a tool that serves to reduce and stabilize the flow of platinum.
Planning Work
Tools to reduce the flow of our platinum PNP transistors made using a box model that easily mounted directly on the vehicle engine, while the main function still performed by platinum as a pulse generator.
With the help of a transistor we can decrease the Ip of about 3 Amperes to 0.05 Amperes. This will overcome the obstacles and easy to wear hot platinum.
Excellence
By using a type PNP transistor TIP type 2955, has a specification Ie (emitter current) while the current maximum of 15 Amperes consumed only 3 Ampere, the system will work safely.
Condenser is not needed anymore because there are not that big sparks in platinum.
Platina be durable and not need adjustment (adjustment) for platinum current (Ip) is very small which is about 0.06 Amperes.
The result of burning (fire that produced the spark plug) is always stable so that the combustion in the engine will always be good.
Response (Emergency)
If an emergency occurs, the transistor TIP2955 damaged, it can be overcome by removing the cable from the coil to the transistor and then connecting points A and B with a piece of cable before modified.
